Program prices are subject to some change and are not guaranteed until you complete your registration with a refundable deposit. Families are responsible for paying the balance in full minus any scholarship awards they are expecting to maintain a current account balance. This includes families traveling to Israel with a $3,000 RootOne Voucher. If your family overpays for their teen’s experience—which results in an account overage—BBYO will refund your family (or funder) for your account overage by sending a check in September after account reconciliations have been completed.

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with our terms of enrollment and cancellation policy. Program prices are not guaranteed until you complete your registration with a $250 deposit.

Payment is accepted by e-check/ACH, check, or credit card. Should you wish to pay by credit card, a non-refundable convenience fee of 3% will be assessed for all payments apart from the initial $250 deposit. All posted prices are in US Dollars.

Email a copy of your teen’s award letter—which should include your teens full name, the program they are registered for, the amount of the award, and contact information from the funding organization—to [email protected].

Airline tickets will not be purchased on a participant’s behalf until an account balance is paid. A teen will not be permitted to board a flight if funds are not received within 48 hours in advance of a trip’s departure.

Checks must be made payable to BBYO, include the teen’s full name, and say the program they are registered for in the memo line. Mail and address checks to:

March 1, 2022 is the last day to cancel and receive a full refund of land cost.  From March 2 – April 5, 2022, families may cancel their registration with a $250 cancellation fee. Beginning April 6, 2022, all programs are non-transferrable and non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing via email to [email protected]. Participants are highly encouraged to purchase a travel insurance policy.

Due to the popularity of our Summer Experiences and to prevent disruption to program planning late in the season, no refunds will be issued starting April 6, 2022. This policy applies to cases of homesickness, dismissal, medical or voluntary withdrawal.

Acceptance to the program is conditioned upon the receipt of a full registration, including, a physical examination and vaccination records of the applicant within 12 months of the program start date that demonstrates his/her physical and mental fitness and ability to participate in all aspects of the program. The traveler must also have proper documentation to travel to the program. These programs are designed for teens that identify as Jewish and in the current grades posted on the website. Receipt of deposit and application forms does not guarantee acceptance of the program. BBYO reserves the right to deny acceptance at its sole discretion.

BBYO reserves the right to consolidate and/or cancel specific programs and/or program dates at its sole discretion. Confirmed program offerings and dates will be finalized by March 3, 2022. Notwithstanding the previous sentence, I understand and agree that BBYO reserves the right to consolidate and/or cancel specific programs and/or trip dates, at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

BBYO may add a COVID-19 program fee—approximately $80—to cover additional COVID related expenses.
